We aim to prioritise low-impact bio-based materials as part of the popular 'fabric first' approach to building projects so that homes are comfortable, affordable to heat, and healthy environments for their occupants. The focus on natural, historic, and/or bio-based options reduces a project's environmental impact. In other words, a building project's environmental impact is as significant as its performance.

 

Consultancy includes systems build-up advice, installation guidance, maintenance, and can include the supply of materials if required.

 

Recent consultancy projects have focused on:

- The retrofitting of old buildings

- Building with hemp

- Cold-roof insulation 

- Damp proofing with hydraulic lime solutions

- Airtightness options

 

Pricing

£60.00 per hour / £280.00 day rate
